VI Carnival of Marine Biodiversity

The Outreach Committee of the Oceanography Department of the Universidad de Concepción, extends an invitation to participate in a new edition of the Carnival of Marine Biodiversity, with workshops and outreach activities of marine sciences. In our VI version, we will carry out a day of scientific dissemination that will include the participation of students in
marine sciences, Marine Biology and Marine Biotechnology and Aquaculture Engineering of the UdeC, and the collaboration of the centers of excellence and laboratories associated with the Department of Oceanography, Center for Oceanographic Research (COPAS) Coastal, Interdisciplinary Center for Aquaculture Research (INCAR), Laboratory of Algal Studies (ALGALAB), Laboratory of Marine Biotoxins (LBTx UdeC) and the Millennium Institute in Coastal Socio-Ecology (SECOS). This day will bring together those who work for the knowledge and conservation of our ocean, who will be able to answer questions and queries that arise around the careers and about Marine Biodiversity, an important topic in environmental education and national and international research. The activity is scheduled for Friday, May 23, November from 10:00 to 16:00 hours at the Marine Biology Station in Dichato, so we hope to have your confirmation in this educational activity that is part of the commemoration of the month of the sea.
